Spring Haul Part 3: Tesco

My name is Nicola and I am a supermarket fashion junkie. I know it must seem like I spend half my time in supermarkets (actually I think I do) but I do just genuinely think they offer such value for money and because their ranges are perhaps aimed at a more reserved market, it suits what I need for work perfectly because it's not too showy, or inappropriate.

My first purchase was this gorgeous crepe skater dress with a mini heart print. I have loved this print ever since Harry Styles wore 'that' Burberry shirt but usually I find it comes on items that are a bit more frilly than anything I'd actually wear. This dress manages to incorporate many things I am loving at the moment - including monochrome and the flattering skater cut. I love the flexibility with monochrome. It's comfy enough for work with some tights but I'd definitely wear it out with a bold red lip and some killer heels (not these though - I just quickly stole them from a friend for the shot and as you can see they're way too big)!.

My second purchase was not life changing, just a little hot pink blouse. Since I've been blonde, I have tended to steer clear of this shade because of the 'barbie' connotations (depite loving both pink and barbie) but I decided just to take the plunge and own it because Barbie is amazing. Pink is also quite a flexible colour, but I especially love it with grey - really preppy. The look in this pic is strictly only something I'd wear to work because it's not as fun or flattering as I usually like but it's comfy and smart. I also love that it has a nice zip detail at the back.

What do you think? Would you have guessed I got these from Tesco?
