Review: Rita Ora for Rimmel 60 seconds nail polish in white hot love

Rimmel by Rita Ora 60 Second Nail Polish - White Hot Love
Now I have to admit it, I'm a sucker for a celebrity make-up collaboration. Despite not actually being a huge Rita Ora fan, I couldn't help but be intrigued when she announced her collection for Rimmel. All it took for a crafty 3 for 2 in Boots and I picked up some bits. I'd been lusting after a white nail polish for a while so I picked up 'Hot White Love'.

Sunshine yellow ootd

Hello lovelies! My work has recently tightened up the dress code so long gone are the lovely girly skirts and dresses I used to love putting on in the morning. I actually struggle with trousers, I hate how they look on me and how restricted I feel so it was with a heavy heart I started looking for some until I found these lovely yellow linen crops from ASOS, I was attracted to the colour instantly (and the £20 price tag), and I kind of wished they had the jacket in stock for a smart summery look.

Review: Primark PS Love Lipstick

Now I have always loved a bargain, I think the reason my house is so full of junk because I can't say no to that 99p garden gnome (despite not actually having a garden). However, when it comes to make-up I can be quite dubious about high street stores turning their hand to try it. I had a disastrous experience a few years ago with a Primark eyeshadow palette and have stayed clear ever since.

Dresses for the races

AX Paris // Topshop // Lipsy // New Look // ASOS //  Chi Chi //

Hi all! I've been very quiet this weekend as it has been a very busy one for me. On Friday I was up at Goodwood again for one of their 'Three Friday Nights' experiences. Our work paid for a box for us which was very lovely (as was the free bar) and we placed some little bets and danced the night away to Zane Lowe.

The 'Summer' Tag

Happy Thursday readers! Bit of a different post from me today but I read this today over at Laura Louise Beauty and what with the weather being absolutely stellar down here on the south coast I thought I'd get into the summer mood with the 'Summer Tag'. I hope you enjoy reading, and if you decide to blog this tag - please leave me a link in the comments.

Something like golf - outfit of the day

Good evening readers! I have had a lovely day at work today supervising a golf tournament. I love the events part of my job, and we couldn't have picked a more perfect day to be cruising in a golf buggy handing out drinks to happy clients. I knew I wanted to look smart but still make the most of the amazing weather. We were over at Goodwood, which is a beautiful course stretching over the West Sussex countryside.

L'Oreal glam bronze eau de soleil - review

L'oreal glam bronze eau de soleil

Happy Sunday readers, It was payday Friday and along with it came this months little splurge in Boots. I wanted to try out some Kim K style contouring so I headed to the L'Oreal counter to pick up a couple of foundations to try it with. At the till I discovered not only was it 3 for 2 on L'Oreal, but you get a free gift when spending over £20 - their 'Glam Bronze Eau de Soleil'.

Co-ords for curvier girls on any budget

Trousers and Shirt - Missguided // // Lilac Scallop Suit - Topshop // Paisley Kimono and Trousers - Boohoo // Floral Skirt and Blazer - River Island // Mint Jaquard Shirt and Skorts - Primark // Box Top and Short Set - The Fashion Bible //
// Baroque Print

One of my favourite trends of late has been co-ordinates. I love the brightly patterened 'matchy matchy' look that is taking fashion by storm at the moment. However, given that the look has mainly lent itself to crop tops and body con skirts... It kind of leaves the curvy girls who aren't wanting to flash the flesh out a bit. Counting myself in that category I wanted to find a way to make the trend work for me, and my body shape so I thought I'd share it with you.

Best of Boohoo dresses

Adele Strappy Peplum Dress // Elizabeth PU Swing Dress // Amber Lace Top Plunge Neck Skater Dress //

After a couple of months trying to be reserved on the spending I'm ashamed to say I caved in and bought myself some lovely dresses for some upcoming things I've got to go to. I haven't shopped at Boohoo since their launch in 2006, when I ordered a couple of dresses and found their sizing way out and the quality not too great. Since then the brand has gone from strength to strength and now have really stepped up their game in the affordable but on trend market. After continually asking where people's amazing outfits were from and hearing 'Boohoo' I decided to give them another try, and I couldn't be more glad I did.

Bronzed shadow make-up look for every day

I love finally having a job where I can be free to change up my clothes and makeup on a daily basis. I'm constantly trying out new things trying to glam up my day. This week to go with a clean white shirt, I thought I'd try and bronze and liner look I'd seen on Georgina from Gossip Girl (SHOCK, I'm sorry I know you must be bored of hearing that by now!).

Affordable, simple skincare saviours

Affordable simple skincare

Skincare isn't something you will usually hear me talking too much about, whilst my skin isn't luminescent and beautiful I have never really had 'problem' skin - it's just always been fairly average all round. I was very lazy, strictly a facewipe type until I read something I think by an old old work colleague of mine you may have heard of Zoe London and she said something along the lines that skin is the most important thing because it's the base of everything else and it just kind of rang true to me.

Those summer nights - ootd

It's that time of year again, every body is on Facebook counting down their holidays and this year I'll just have to watch on in envy as I have opted out of a holiday this year. But that doesn't have to stop me planning my perfect holiday wardrobe (even if it has to be worn in Bognor rather than Barbados).

The best summer hair accessories

I am, and always have been a girly girl at heart and at the core of any girl worth her weight in pink are hair accessories. Over the years I've dabbled with it all - bandanas, hair bands, bows, ribbons, flowers and secretly (and not so secretly) loved it all. Much to my great pleasure, 90's style hair adornments have firmly made a come back. After having a bit of mini spree for my hair the other day I thought I'd share with you my favourite bits that will be holidaying on my head this summer.

Gossip Girl Jenny Humphrey inspired makeup

As anyone watching my Twitter would probably know I am highly obsessed with Gossip Girl at the moment. I really enjoyed this steal their style post I did a couple of weeks ago, so I thought I'd continue with the Gossip Girl tradition and show you this Jenny Humphrey inspired look that I wore out for the bank holiday.
