Review: Rita Ora for Rimmel 60 seconds nail polish in white hot love

Rimmel by Rita Ora 60 Second Nail Polish - White Hot Love
Now I have to admit it, I'm a sucker for a celebrity make-up collaboration. Despite not actually being a huge Rita Ora fan, I couldn't help but be intrigued when she announced her collection for Rimmel. All it took for a crafty 3 for 2 in Boots and I picked up some bits. I'd been lusting after a white nail polish for a while so I picked up 'Hot White Love'.

Packaging fairly standard - although love the Rita pop art style stamp on the lid. As with all Rimmel polishes, it came with the amazing flat brush which I absolutely love for keeping neat. It went on fairly smoothly and needed a good 2-3 coats for the colour you are seeing. I can't really comment on the '60 second' claim because I finished with a coat of blogger favourite Seche Vite which I have a sneaking suspicion had more to do with the lightening fast dry time. A few days in we see no chips (yay!) but the nails are looking a bit grubby which is something worth remembering about going for that iconic 'all white' mani. It doesn't help that colour is slightly off white anyway so doesn't give that 'brilliant white' look.

Overall I was pretty pleased with this polish, for the price of  (£3.69  here and on 3 for 2) I'd definitely look at getting more for on the go manicure freshen up. One great thing about her collection is that it's full of bold summer colours so they will definitely perk up your day.

Do you have any Rita Ora for Rimmel pieces ? What did you think of them ?

Until next time...
