Leighton Denny nail polish in Supermodel

Very heavy on the beauty at the moment because I've recently got lots of exciting things I want to tell you about. Another brand I met at BLFW was Leighton Denny who specialise in nail polishes. I picked up shade Supermodel*, a lovely mink colour similar to Barry M's Mushroom which I love. This one has a slightly more taupe/purple tone which I feel works better with my skin tone and is perfect for Autumn.

Having never tried, or even heard of Leighton Denny's brand before here's a little info - named after its founder and MUA, the range started with nail and tanning products and is slowly expanding to include other products. Pricewise it's in the range of OPI, Nails Inc and the collections are very carefully curated.

I love the simplicity of the packaging, no gimmicky names or OTT fonts. The brush is a bit thinner than I usually like to work with but it's manageable if you're concentrating, Two coats gave an opaque finish, despite the fact it was a little thin which made it difficult to get an even finish. Without a bottom or top coat it's lasting amazingly and literally doesn't budge which is great news for someone who is very hands on. I'd love to see this polish on nails which are nicer than mine, if I get acrylics again any time soon I'll definitely be bringing this into the salon. I hope we're going to see LD on the high street sometime soon so I can admire more of their range. I have my eye on the Hollywood collection.

Have you tried anything by Leighton Denny? I'd definitely recommend them!

Until next time!
