Tigi Bed Head Superficial Smoothing Liquid and Sugar Dust Review

Tigi, Bed Head, Superficial Smoothing Liquid, Sugar Dust, Review, hair, haircare, dirty looks, prize, competition, volume, smooth, shiny

I know I've done quite a few hair posts recently but I've had quite a few things to try thanks to winning a competition from the fantastic Dirty Looks hair extensions. The main reason I'm so into trying hair products is that they're the hardest things to get right, and find any that actually do what they claim. These two TIGI Bed Head products came with my prize I assume because they're things that would typically work well with extensions. One is a texturizing powder for giving volume at the root and the other is a liquid spray for smooth and shinyness.

The Sugar Dust was a slightly unexpected texture for me, it was so light and fluffy almost like snow. I was sceptical on what it could do because I felt like it would take so much product to make a difference. Also because it's so light you're applying quite blind so I just shook like salt into my roots and massaged. I was shocked when I flipped my hair up how much body it had.It was so bouncy! It didn't last massively long so I might try using a firm hold hairspray afterwards next time. For someone who finds their hair quite flat, this is a great find.

The spray I got on with not quite as well it smelt amazing, but has quite a greasy texture. You spray over damp hair then blow dry and straighten. My hair is very dry after years of bleaching so maybe it's too far gone but I didn't feel like it did much other than the smell, my hair is definitely no shinier. Also having said that my hair is ridiculously straight naturally also, so straight hair products don't really have much work to do. I'll be interested to try it on some extensions.

So guys I hope this was helpful to you, if you get a chance you should definitely try the sugar dust out it's really cool. You can get both products on the Dirty Looks website. and if you guys are into hair things you should definitely subscribe to their YouTube channel and follow them on Twitter @DTYLOOKS because they have some really useful content and great competitions.

Thanks for reading.
