In addition to the fab Tigi Bedhead products I received from Dirty Looks in their give-away, I also got something I'd wanted forever - a full set of their clip in hair extensions. Now the first thing I would say about Dirty Looks is they really understand the hair extension customer. Other brands I've tried have great products but haven't invested in helping the ordinary person find their way around what can be a very confusing thing. From their blog, their YouTube Channel and even the other products they stock on their site, none of it is filler and will give you the confidence that you have exactly the right product for you, and you will know what to do with it when you get it.

I'd been wanting a hair colour change for a while so I decided to bite the bullet and get them in the shade I wanted to be. They have the widest range of amazing shades that I've ever seen some really gorgeous highlights (something you can't get often) - I went for the one they described as 'Jennifer Aniston' blonde - Butterscotch highlighted which DL states is a "warm shade of caramel blonde with very pretty walnut tones running through" but I'd actually have put it as their lightest brown rather than a blonde because the base is undoubtedly brown.

I couldn't believe how much hair there was - 10 clips in varying sizes with one extra thick weft. Most companies sell hair extensions on weight which means if you want longer hair, you pay more for less thickness however Dirty Looks give you the extra weight with the extra length. I got 20-22 inch because for a night out I really wanted that glamorous long look. They were so easy to clip in - each piece was numbered - the box came with a guide, and the clips felt seriously secure to the point where I maybe drunkenly forgot to take them out one night and even after sleeping on them they were in perfectly.

The hair is as thick and lovely as any I've tried, even Beauty Works, and so easy to style but as always do remember your heat protection spray and try to keep the temperature of any heat under 180c where possible. My only complaint would be that they don't offer the hair as wefts for if you wanted to have them weaved to wear them more permanently. I like clip ins, but really I'd like to have the hair in all the time and not only is it a hassle to put them in and out every day, but the clips are the worst for your hair because they pull on the root. On the plus side if you don't like the commitment, this is a great boost for special occasions.

I'd definitely recommend Dirty Looks, I can't believe how much I love them - especially the colour! For the price starting at just £69.99 for a full head they give the more expensive brands a run for thier money.

Would you ever consider trying hair extensions? Or if you have what are your favourite brands?
