Hello my lovelies! After feeling a little burnt out towards the end of last year I decided to take a little blog break through December to concentrate on work and getting things straight for Christmas. I've missed blogging so much and am now back and refreshed for 2015. As a nice start I thought I'd run you through my ultimate beauty faves from the year gone.

2014, something like nicola, beauty favourites, benefit, cheeky sweet spot, blush, bronzer, highlighter, girl meets pearl, boi-ing, concealer, shade 01, nars, sheer glow, foundation, santa fe,

Foundation: Nars 'Sheer Glow'. I have tried a few great ones this year and I know this is much raved about but for good reason. It's just the perfect finish, amazing coverage, no SPF, great shade range and now available on ASOS so with the right discount a very fair price. I recommend it to everyone and I could happily wear this every day.

Cheeks: Benefit EVERYTHING. I just think Benefit kill it with the cheek products, amazing colour pay off and look so great. If you were lucky enough to get your hands on the Cheeky Sweet Shop Christmas special then you'll understand me when I say it's a life changer having everyone at your finger tips. Hula is probably my favourite because it's an amazing contour bronzer.

Highlight: Benefit 'Girl Meets Pearl'. Another brilliant Benefit product here, I've tried every kind of highlighter this year - cream, liquid, powder and this is my favourite. It's got almost a bronzey colour to it and really pearly finish. I think highlighters can often make me look shiny but this provides a glow and its liquid so a little bit goes a long way.

Concealer: Benefit 'Bo-ing'. Almost a home run for Benefit on the face with this industrial strength cover up ready for even your most tired day. Only a small amount covers everything, honestly nothing else comes close.

2014, something like nicola, beauty favourites, soap and glory, thick and fast, mascara, mac, eye brow, bourjois, little round pots, intense, shade 01, shade 17, shade 13

Eyeshadows: Bourjois 'Little Round Pot'. Although my Naked palettes are my most used, I found these a really pleasant surprise. They have some great unusual shades with beautiful finishes - as you can see I'm a fan of the glitters. The pigmentation is really good and you can build it up as you need and they blend just as well as more expensive counterparts. They even have a handy little mirror.

Mascara: Soap and Glory - 'Thick and Fast' original. I won't go into too much detail again because I've reviewed this in full here but this is literally the bomb dot com! Nothing I've tried comes close.

Eyeliner: Urban Decay 24/7 liner in 'Perversion'. There is nothing blacker or longer lasting than this I'm sure of it. An essential for any foxy smokey eye look it makes other black Kohl liners look grey. I do not want to live without this ever.

Brows: Mac Eyebrows. I don't do anything too elaborate with my brows I just like to fill them in a bit so I like something easy to use and subtle. My only complaint is that it doesn't feel like you get much product for your buck. I burn through them.

2014, something like nicola, beauty favourites, loreal paris, color riche, pure reds, collection exclusive, blakes red, urban decay, lip junkie, crush,

Lipstick: L'Oreal 'Color Riche Pure Reds' in Blake. THIS IS AMAZING. If you don't have it you need it. Without a doubt my favourite red not even Mac can beat. It's blue toned and has a kind of pinky finish like velvet. Gorgeously matte but not at all drying. Really flattering and just looks so much more expensive than it it. Throw in the beautiful packaging and the association with my girl Blake and it shot comfortably to my ultimate favourite over all of 2014.

Gloss: Urban Decay 'Lip Junkie' in Crush. This is a great every day, not sticky easy to apply without a mirror and gives your face a gorgeous flush. What really sets it apart is the beautiful packaging with a gorgeous purple metallic detail.

So there we have it. The best products I'll definitely be taking into 2015 in with me. I'd love to know if you've tried any or what your favourites are?

See you soon!

I have a couple of Bourjois eyeshadow pots, but I don't have the ones you have - this bronze one looks so cute!
