Best of the high street edit | Fashion

Why is it there is so much amazing stuff in the stores in January when nobody has any money? I've just had my first post Christmas payday and once I even out all the Christmas overspending it doesn't look pretty. Although the sales are pretty much at an end now - there's some great discounts at the moment especially if you or someone you can bat your eyelids at is a student willing to lend their NUS card. Missguided, Boohoo, Warehouse, Topman, Miss Selfridge & Little Mistress all have 20% at the moment instead of the usual so it's well worth having a look.

Despite having no parties planned now for the considerable future I'm still getting drawn to party wear (big magpie here!) but I know I should be focusing on work wear as I seem to wear the same things all the time. I'm still desperate for the over the knee boots I mentioned here but they haven't come back in stock yet :( Not feeling a lot of colour at the moment, monochrome is everywhere at the moment and I'm really feeling all the red everywhere. A year or so ago there was nothing! I think my favourite item are the white stilettos, I've wanted some ever since seeing Ariana everywhere but am looking out for some cheaper versions as I don't know how I feel about paying that price for such simple shoes.

I've been wanting to get back into outfit posts for a while but I don't know how people find the time to take the photos! But watch this space. What have you been lusting after on the high street? I'd love to see your picks.

Thanks for reading.

PS - I'm so close to 200 followers on Bloglovin' - it would mean so much to me that if you read and you're not already signed up to follow you just click the little follow button - just make sure it's for my blog rather than me. Thanks :)
