Real Techniques Nic's Picks brush set | Beauty

A few months ago I spotted these beauties on the shelves of Boots and Superdrug, with it being Christmas and everything I resisted. More recently they were on Amazon's lightning deals and thought it was about time they joined my collection.

At the usual price - £29.99 they're still good value but at the £15 I picked them up for they were practically a steal. As with all RT brushes they're great quality and the silver handles fit into my collection really nicely.

The best part about this set is that there really isn't a dud brush. The stand out for me has to be the angled shadow brush because it's a great shape for getting that perfect smoky eye (just keep blending.....) and an extra copy of their base shadow brush is also a welcome addition.

The cheek brush I think is the most versatile, I have been using it for a subtle highlight on the cheek but I think it would also be great with foundation to achieve a really great full coverage finish quickly. The duo fibre is the only one I haven't really found a use for, but as a dry face I don't use powder so I feel like if you do this could work.

I'd definitely recommend picking these up to start or bulk up your collection because you almost have all areas covered here. I don't think RT can ever get it wrong!

Which RT should I be picking up next? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time!
